Trench Cover

The Problem
Maintaining access during groundworks and overcoming the hazard of trenches and holes in pavements and pathways.

• Used longitudinally to span a trench with a maximum width of 700mm
• For a maximum vehicle weight of 2000kg, evenly distributed, with a single load per wheel maximum of 500kg - as independently tested (certificate upon request).
• Approved by National Grid plc. to Transco Specification T/SP/E/42
• Complies with the UK’s DETR safety at streetworks and roadworks code of practice

The Trench Cover allows easy and safe access by pedestrians and vehicles.

• Dimensions of 1195mm x 795mm
• Slip resistant surface
• Manufactured in glass reinforced composite
• Strengthened with a steel mesh
• Anchor points at each corner
• Standard colour of yellow - other colours available
• Can be personsonalised in the central panel (minimum quantities apply)
