System Scaffolding

Developed for the industry over 35 years ago, our System Scaffold has become universally established throughout the world. Its adaptability and speed of erection ensure that it can be used for a variety of applications, offering an efficient and cost effective alternative to conventional tube and fitting scaffolds.
Available in 1.2m, 1.8m and 2.4m lengths, Steelstage forms the working platform. They are galvanised, pressed steel battens with a slip resistant surface. Timber battens are also available if required.
Available in nominal 0.8m and 1.2m standard lengths, Transoms are used to connect standards at the required platform width. They have a captive wedge device at each end which engages into pressings on the standards. Flanges on the T section provide seating for steelstage or timber battens.
Available in 1.8m and 2.4m lengths, Ledgers are used to connect standards by means of a captive wedge device and fit securely into the pressings on the standards. Ledgers are used in pairs at each platform level and to form guardrails.
The Universal Jack provides support for the standards and has an adjustable collar and threaded stem to allow levelling on uneven ground. Available in 2m or 3m lengths, Standards are manufactured from standard scaffold tube with pressings welded at 500mm centres to provide locations for ledgers, transoms, diagonal braces and accessories.
